Founder, Ady's Agro Processing Limited.

Adanne Uche is a dedicated and accomplished professional renowned as the founder and CEO of Ady’s Agro Processing Limited. Armed with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature (French/German) and backed by 24 years of experience across both corporate and entrepreneurial sectors, Adanne epitomizes resilience, vision, and passion for advancing Africa’s food systems.

Driven by a deep love for food and a mission to promote healthy eating habits, she has transformed the culinary landscape by offering preservative-free, nutritious food products while creating economic empowerment for smallholder farmers. Under her leadership, Ady’s has expanded its product line to include natural spices, herbal teas, baby blends, gluten-free flours, and a sodium-free seasoning alternative known as Pasa, with a market presence in Nigeria, the UK, and the US.

Adanne’s excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including recognition as one of the Top 50 MSME Founders in 2023, and a Trailblazer Fellow of the Leading African Women in Food Fellowship (LAWFF) 2024. She serves as a Technical Board Member of the Nigerian Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP), National Desk Coordinator for International Projects at Abiriba Women Cultural Organisers, Secretary General of the SUN Business Network (SBN) – South-West Zone, and Director of Strategic Engagement and Events for the LAWFF Alumni Network (LAN).

Beyond business, Adanne is a coach, speaker, and mentor to over 400 women and youth. Her influence extends from TV appearances and investor pitches to academic forums, such as SOAS University in London, and global events, including the Africa Food Systems Forum (AGRF) in Kigali and the ELOY Foundation Business Showers.

She is a lifelong learner, continually enhancing her leadership through prestigious programs like the Harvard–Cornell Food Systems Program, the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) by the U.S. Consulate, and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Entrepreneurship Program.

Adanne is also the founder of a social enterprise initiative that empowers startups and underprivileged individuals, especially women and youth, through her Unleash Your Entrepreneurial Potential program. She actively supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2, 3, and 12), demonstrating her commitment to health, sustainability, and inclusive economic growth.

She is a recipient of grants from GAIN, USADF, WIA, FATE FOUNDATION, and LSETF, among others. Adanne Uche continues to inspire as a trailblazer in Africa’s agrifood landscape, leading by example, mentoring the next generation, and transforming communities through innovation, inclusion, and impact.
