Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.

Ngozi Sarah Rowland-Onuegwunwoke

Ngozi Sarah Rowland-Onuegwunwoke is a seasoned entrepreneur, business coach, and passionate advocate for women’s economic empowerment and food security. With an MBA and a first degree in agricultural economics from the University of Ibadan, she combines deep academic insight with practical business leadership.

She is the CEO of Safi Event Managers and SEM Foods & Spices, a healthy food processing company based in Abuja. She also co-founded Divinesachy Enterprise, focused on tackling food insecurity in Nigeria. Ngozi is the Deputy Hub Lead (North Central) for the Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network (SBN), Regional Ambassador for African Food Changemakers, and Lead for the Conversations for Change (C4C) Alumni Network.

Through her Brandpreneur Mentorship Foundation, she has supported hundreds of youths and entrepreneurs with capacity-building programs, mentorship, and financial empowerment. Ngozi is a certified risk manager, an award-winning social innovator, and a recognized voice in Africa’s agribusiness and entrepreneurship space. She was named Winner of the Motherland Award (Enterprise Category, 2021), Finalist in the African Women in Agribusiness Awards (Role Model Category, 2023), and most recently, Winner of the Innovative Agric-Business Leadership Award (2024).

A devoted Christian, wife, and mother, Ngozi continues to inspire as a mentor, public speaker, and builder of sustainable business communities across Africa.
