Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.
Managing Director, Gamma International Tanzania Limited
With over 30 years of experience in the agro-industrial supply chain, Siddharth Pawar brings strategic expertise and execution excellence in promoting Africa’s agricultural commodities, including raw cashew nuts, sesame seeds, coffee, and cotton, within global value chains. As Director of Gamma International Tanzania Ltd., he oversees end-to-end operations, from farm-level sourcing to international export, with a strong focus on quality control, compliance, and buyer engagement.
In his role as an ambassador for the African Food Changemakers platform, he is committed to enhancing the visibility of African produce in Asian and European markets. His work supports sustainable trade partnerships, enhances market access for smallholder farmers, and positions Africa as a global agri-export leader.
He is also passionate about agro-processing innovation, driving the transformation of raw exports into high-value products such as protein powders, biomass briquettes, and ethanol. His mission is to scale agribusiness exports while maximizing value addition at the source.
