Implementation of the draft compact will directly contribute to achieving the goals and priorities set out in the national strategic development plan II 2018-19- 2022-23 and the comprehensive national agriculture policy for Lesotho 2022-26. It will also be guided by the consensus reached in the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit Dialogue in which Lesotho participated.
