Kenya Biodiversity Impact Accelerator Network (K-BIAN) is a conservation non-profit registered in Kenya under the Public Benefit Organizations Act, 2013 to conserve biological diversity and enhance social welfare by promoting innovative and sustainable environmental management through restoration and conservation incentives. K-BIAN is championing integrated interventions that address the nexus between biodiversity, climate change, health, education and sustainable livelihoods. The organization is currently focusing on conservation and related programs in the Greater Kakamega Forest Ecosystem that stretches Kibiri, Kakamega, Malava and Bunyala Forests of Western Kenya. It is all about healing ecosystems, preserving biodiversity, and building climate resilience.
