Taliana Foods manufactures affordable and nutritious gluten free flours for the gluten sensitive and health conscious population in Kenya. The flours are processed from fresh farm products such as cassava, sweet potatoes and pumpkins from locally contracted farmers. The farmers purchase hybrid dehydrators for dehydrating the farm products at source while the company also establishes dehydration centres to tap onto small holder farmers who do not have the ability to buy the dehydrators.
