BOMFA Cooperative is a member-owned, member-run and member-serving farmers organisation, based in Kasungu district, Malawi focusing on soya, sunflower, maize and banana value chains. We aim to improve farmer livelihoods by increasing household income and food security. We do this through various activities (1) provision of input loans to member farmers (2) access to markets through aggregation (3) production of sunflower cooking oil and sunflower cake (4) banana production - 5 hectare banana farm.
