About Company

Builds up Entrepreneurship and Innovation (BEI) is a social enterprise based in Burundi, dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through sustainable agriculture, green energy, and inclusive entrepreneurship. Founded by a young activist, BEI works primarily with rural youth and women, providing them with training, tools, and access to markets to transform local challenges into economic opportunities. The organization promotes climate-smart farming, produces high-value crops such as chili and vegetables, and installs biodigesters to promote clean energy. BEI also engages in community advocacy, education, and leadership development, making social inclusion and environmental sustainability central to its mission. Our model is grassroots-driven, scalable, and focused on long-term impact.
