Purchasing cocoyam and tomatoes when they are in glut, then processing and packaging them into value-added food products that are available all year round at stable, affordable prices, thereby mitigating seasonality, scarcity and price volatility of food. Our flagship product is AROSA Cocoyam Thickener that has been selling in Nigeria since 2016. It is a major 'pain killer' developed from freshly harvested cocoyam corms to eliminate the tedious, costly process of preparing cocoyam corms for use in soups, sauces and porridges. We have also processed cocoyam into a flour that can be consumed as 'swallow' or 'fufu', especially by diabetics and people with gastrointestinal disorders. We have also processed tomatoes into a pure powder that is a more natural substitute for imported tomato paste.
