We are a social bioenterprise based in Lesotho, working at the intersection of biodiversity conservation, rural development, and inclusive economic growth. Our mission is to unlock the value of natural resources — including wool, mohair, and indigenous botanicals — to create sustainable livelihoods for rural communities across Lesotho and parts of South Africa. We partner with local harvesters, farmers, and herders — particularly women and youth — to build structured, ethical value chains that connect remote communities to global markets. By doing so, we transform traditional subsistence activities into reliable sources of income while promoting dignity, inclusion, and economic resilience. At the core of our work is a commitment to conservation. We believe that biodiversity must generate value for communities in order to be protected. Through sustainable harvesting practices and responsible sourcing, we contribute to the preservation of indigenous species and fragile ecosystems.
