The Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) Kenya is a non-governmental organization that was founded in 1912, on a strong Christian principle and is a pivotal organization for empowerment of girls and women. Its membership-based organization is dedicated to fostering the collective power of girls and women in Kenya. Emancipation on all fronts—social, economic, political, and cultural—is the primary goal of this organization, which is working in conjunction with the World YWCA.
