About Company

Kitovu Technology Company is a technology firm that builds operating systems for African agriculture. We leverage data to eliminate guesswork and supply chain inefficiencies from agriculture. Our system combines mobile and web platforms, remote sensing, and data science to deliver the information that smallholder farmers need to be successful and to make more money off their farms. Kitovu uses technology to recommend precise seed and fertilizer inputs, provide information on good agriculture practice, and links to markets. Our micro-level aim is to empower smallholder farmers to cut costs, increase yields, improve their income, and to embrace sustainable agriculture systems. On a macro-level we want to help Nigeria and other developing countries achieve food security and eliminate poverty in rural areas.
