Akeyo is on a mission to revolutionize the way poverty reduction and agricultural development is being done in the Global South. We are doing this by structurally transforming last-mile delivery for smallholder farmers. Millions of farmers are stuck with low productivity - simply because they live in desolate places, cut off from the simple resources and knowledge that could change their lives. We aim to fundamentally reshape how development is done by building a self-sustaining delivery system that ensures farmers receive timely, relevant support—without perpetual donor reliance. Our model encompasses 3 interdependent elements Savings groups, Video trainings and equipment supply. We identify and train agents within the local communities to sell our demand driven equipments and train farmers through videos sustainably by charging a competitive fee for our products and services.
