Nakibweru Integrated Model Farming Organization
Through its action, the organization critically considers and integrates climate-resilience into home garden enterprises (e.g., growing of indigenous vegetables and fruits) of women & Pwds for improved and increased production. In this regard, capacity building activities are held and various support provided, which induces positive impact on technological knowledge and the adoption of good farming practices. Thus, the organizations’ implementation is a priority owing to its positive impact on economic growth, rural job creation, sustainable food and nutrition security for the poor, improved income for value chain stakeholders and rural entrepreneurship development.
