Big Harvest Agritech (BIGHAT) is a Zambian enterprise dedicated to improving rural livelihoods through the promotion of climate-smart agriculture, research-based innovation, and inclusive market systems. Our target is to empower smallholder farmers with skills, resources, and climate-smart technologies that enable them to increase productivity, strengthen food security, and manage natural resources sustainably We are currently working with 500 smallholder farmers in Eastern Province, with a target of reaching over 10,000 farmers across Zambia by 2030. Our approach integrates sustainable farming techniques, advanced crop varieties, quality input distribution, farmer capacity building, and strategic market linkages.
