Building Resilience Against Climate and Environmental Shocks
(BRACE) is an
intensive
capacity program that empowers agri/food SMEs through training
and technical
support, to
implement sustainable solutions for scaling their agribusinesses
in the face
of
climate
change. It exposes participants to the impact of climate change
on their
businesses,
mitigation and adaptation strategies, insights into climate
financing, and
other
opportunities in the climate ecosystem. Through the support of
the Skoll
Foundation,
BRACE
will train over 3,000 SMEs across Africa between 2022 and 2024.

Leading African Women in Food Fellowship (LAWFF) is an ambitious
program aimed at supporting young African women who are making
outstanding contributions and impact across the food ecosystem.
This initiative amplifies, celebrates, champions, and advances
the work of female food changemakers.
The program offers mentorship, training, peer-to-peer support,
increased visibility through strategic media support, and
connections to AFC partner networks for funding and scaling.

The Scaling Export Program (SEP) seeks to engage an annual
cohort of agri-food SMEs to build their capacity to export
healthy, nutritious agri-food products across Africa and access
international markets especially Europe and North America
through training, market exposure, trade linkages, and business
support. The program provides tremendous opportunities to
increase the competitiveness of our domestic markets, enable
diversification through value addition, and improve the
participation of agriSMEs in continental and intercontinental
trade.
