The Nigeria for Women Project (NFWP) is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering Nigerian women socially and economically. Implemented by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs in collaboration with State governments and the World Bank. NFWP focuses on enhancing women's access to financial resources, markets, and livelihood opportunities. The project operates across six states: Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Kebbi, Niger, Ogun, and Taraba, reaching over 324,000 women through Women Affinity Groups (WAGs) and registered Cooperatives.
