About Company

Assan is a development expert with vast experience in food systems, climate change, environmental management and how these interplay with overall poverty programming. In the last 3 years Assan has been working at AGRA developing and managing projects, policies and providing advice on how to integrate resilience in smallholder agriculture in Africa. Some of his key achievements have been in mobilizing and implementing programmes that are building resilience in food value chains, introduction and promotion of regenerative agriculture, climate change awareness programmes and the integration of environmental risk management in agriculture. Prior to this he worked in the UN as a policy and programme specialist across Africa.
