Mvutu is a technology company based in Brazzaville, Congo that helps smallholder farmers maximize their profits. Mvutu brings together everything a farmer needs, if any: finance, farm inputs, advice, insurance and market access. Mvutu works hand in hand with agricultural cooperatives to facilitate the collection of crops and their transport to urban centers for distribution to help them improve their incomes and reduce post-harvest losses. Mvutu supports informal sector food vendors to ensure a stable food supply in the country to help them improve their incomes, working conditions and contribute to food security.
