Pepper powder is one of the most varied and widely used food in Nigeria by low income earners, urban poor and rural households mostly for culinary purposes and seasonings. Over the years, accessibility of pungent and stone-free pepper powder at affordable price has been a major problem for low income earners, urban poor and rural households in Nigeria whereas pepper accounted for 25% of total post-harvest loss of farm produce To help address the need for pungent and stone-free pepper powder at affordable price, I started Olanreforward Foods, a pepper processing enterprise in Ibadan.
