Voice of Women in the Development of Agriculture (VOWDA) has a clear vision to be a global center of excellence for gender responsive research in Agriculture and our Mission is to transform Agriculture through Science, Technology and Innovation that ensures world food security for all and economic prosperity. VOWDA seeks to bridge the gap between agricultural Scientists and rural farmers most especially women. We believe in laying the right principles with effective strategies built o¬n VOWDA core values to achieve this aim. The overall goal of VOWDA is to fight hunger and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa through women professionals involved in agricultural research
