Together with our Team and Board of Directors, the African Food Changemakers Ambassadors are determined to contribute to our mission of driving profitable and sustainable growth of the African agriculture and food landscapes by attracting, empowering, equipping, connecting and celebrating over 1 Million dynamic and innovative young African agri-food entrepreneurs. across the continent for the transformation of Africa’s agricultural landscape.

Amarachi Okpala-Onwuamaegbu

Founder, House of Maramuna

Amarachi Okpala-Onwuamaegbu is the founder of House of Maramuna, a 100% Nigerian-sourced coconut and organic company with a rich history in customer service and quality. An outstanding feature of Amarachi's company is its ability to diversify and provide exclusive products for various needs, meeting consumers' requirements. These qualities led to her participation as one of the panelists at the European Union Commission's International Product Safety Week in Brussels, Belgium, in 2022.

Amarachi is well known for her passion for the delivery of coconut foods and original coconut oil and carrot oils. She has impacted the lives of over 5,000 school children and women in her community through her entrepreneurship programs. She is an alumna of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) and African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC), an alumna of the YALI Regional Leadership Center (YALINetwork), an African Changemakers Fellow and currently volunteering as the Director for Training and Empowerment for Ultimate Destiny Uplifters Foundation (UDUF). Amarachi loves volunteering, and she is dedicated to serving humanity.
