Chef Hadiza Idris Suleiman is an exceptionally versatile and creative entrepreneur and nationally certified food business owner who has excelled in a full spectrum of food and entrepreneurship roles. Her dynamic 10-year career in food business, entrepreneurship, and business development support merges a focus on strategic message delivery, value creation, critical thinking, and problem-solving with excellence. She has a proven track record of innovation, team building, leadership development, brand awareness development, market growth, and stakeholder engagement.
Through her organization, Chefs Dexterity Food Forum, she has equipped over 10,000 businesses with skills in networking, communication, cooking techniques, food presentation, food business management and consultation, marketing, chef courses, culinary internships, food safety, food hygiene, and digital tools to excel in the food business.
She has consulted on several projects, where she worked closely with youth groups to build leadership skills and with hundreds of micro, small, and medium enterprises to successfully establish their businesses and expand their market access and financial resources. She’s also involved in agriculture and farm supply chain divisions, such as onion and hibiscus, through Deejerh Harvest Haven. As a chef, she serves as the executive head chef at Deejerh Food Delicacies, managing the restaurant and catering services. She organizes events, especially for women's empowerment and trade fairs, through the Khadija Women Empowerment Foundation.
Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Bayero University, Kano, and a professional chef diploma from the Culinary Academy. She is passionate about food, education, and entrepreneurship and is a strong advocate for women. She has a lifelong ambition to make a significant contribution to eradicating poverty in Africa and beyond.
