The Women in Mechanised Agriculture Association of West Africa (WIMA-Nigeria) is a women-led organisation established in 2019 to empower women across Nigeria through mechanised agriculture. WIMA promotes inclusive access to mechanisation services, finance, and training via its 24 operational hubs across 19 states. The association supports women farmers, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives with equipment ownership models, technical capacity building, and market linkages. By integrating climate-smart practices, health access, and digital solutions, WIMA strengthens women’s productivity, resilience, and leadership in agribusiness—driving sustainable growth and regional food security.
