Mamahealth is a climate-smart agribusiness based in Tanzania, dedicated to reducing post-harvest losses and improving nutrition. Using solar-powered dehydration technology, we transform surplus fruits and vegetables such as mangoes, bananas, beetroot, spinach, and carrots into nutritious VEGFRUIT BARS, dried products, and powders. Our work not only extends shelf life and adds value but also empowers smallholder farmers and women-led cooperatives by providing access to affordable solar dehydrators. By combining innovation, sustainability, and community engagement, Mamahealth supports year-round food availability, boosts farmer incomes, and promotes environmental resilience in the face of climate change.
