Bala Young Farmers cooperative society Limited (BYFCSL) is a cooperative which is comprised of 298 young members, who come together to produce, add value and market their agricultural products. BYFCSL deals in three value chain i.e. maize, soybean, and cassava, provide extension services to its members e.g. training them on agronomic practices and supply them with agro inputs. BYFCSL also carry out value addition on maize and cassava through processing them in to high quality flour and sell it in profitable prices, it also conduct bulk marketing of members produce e.g. on maize, soybean, and cassava Vision ; “To be a leading producer and marketer of quality value added agro products in Lango sub region”. Mission Whereas its mission is; “To increase household income, food and nutritional security through Agronomic and post-harvest training, access to modern agriculture.
