About Company

ECO-BALANCE FARM LTD tackles low agricultural productivity and high post-harvest losses (over 40%) among Rwandan smallholder farmers, especially women (70% of producers). Our "Sustainable Vegetable Production with Zero wastes and Zero Energy Solutions" project establishes a 2-hectare off-season vegetable farm in Rutsiro district, growing high-value crops like tomatoes and cucumbers. We implement sustainable land use, integrating agroforestry tree planting and soil erosion control through radical terraces. We also utilize gravity irrigation, composting, and zero-energy cooling chambers. Beyond production, we train 350 local farmers in sustainable techniques, post-harvest handling, and business management. We create employment, prioritizing women and youth, and combat malnutrition by distributing fruit trees. Our goal: improved livelihoods and enhanced food security
