Masagajr Farm Investments
MasagaJr Farm is a Tanzanian CBO transforming inland aquaculture into a climate-resilient food system. We address Kigoma’s 20,000-tonne fish deficit by dismantling three "profit-crippling" barriers: expensive imported feed, high fingerling mortality from 300km transport distances, and a regional knowledge gap. Our integrated model features a localized hatchery producing 1 million fingerlings per cycle, in-house feed production, and a "Living Classroom" for vocational training. With 18 local groups waiting to scale, we are seeking investment to industrialize our hatchery and formalize our training center. By controlling the entire value chain, MasagaJr Farm creates a circular bio-economy that empowers youth, secures farmer profits, and provides affordable protein to combat regional malnutrition. Join us in building a sustainable, profitable future for aquaculture.
