Kimora Greengrow Farm
Kimora Greengrow Farm is a youth-led agribusiness based in Gulu District, Northern Uganda, co-founded by Walter Okello and Irene Susan Atii. The farm is committed to helping smallholder farmers adapt to climate change through sustainable, climate-smart vegetable farming. We grow and supply healthy, drought-resistant and high-yielding vegetable seedlings, train farmers in regenerative practices, and promote affordable solutions like composting, drip irrigation, and organic pest control. Our model farm doubles as a hands-on learning center with a strong focus on youth and women empowerment. Walter, a public health and agriculture professional, leads research and innovation, while Irene, also a public health specialist and an agripreneur passionate about inclusive development, manages value chain growth and community outreach. Since 2023, we’ve supported over 500 farmers.
