Mesheddy poultry farm was established in 2019 in Vihiga county as a climate -smart Agribusiness. It is a farm integrating poultry, vegetables and offering sustainable organic feed solutions. Poultry and vegetable farming is one of the fastest-growing agribusinesses in Kenya due to high demand for chicken meat,eggs and vegetables. Despite this, local production is unable to meet market demand because of poor breeds, high feed costs, and limited access to modern farming knowledge. We seek to scale up our operations and become a leading supplier of Commercial layers, broilers,pure kienyeji and improved kienyeji chickens (KALRO, Kenbro, Kuroiler, and Rainbow Rooster breeds) ,eggs, vegetables and organic feeds in Western Kenya and the Kenya at large. Due to poultry and vegetables affordability, quick turnover, and constant market demand. Our products remain essential food sources for households, schools, hotels, and institutions across the country. The farm aims to become a reliable supplier of high-quality products while empowering local communities.
