Founded in 2015 by Margaret Komen, Mace Foods Ltd is a woman‑owned social agribusiness company headquartered in Eldoret, Kenya. Over the past ten years, the company has established itself as a pioneer in the processing and export of African spices and dried vegetables, while building inclusive value chains that integrate smallholder farmers particularly women and youth into global markets. Mace Foods’ purpose is to empower farming communities through agribusiness innovation, ensuring that women and youth are not only participants but leaders in agricultural transformation. The company works with over 3,800 smallholder farmers spread in 14 counties of Kenya, providing training in climate‑smart production, post‑harvest handling, and farmer group management.
