NOVABI (Nobel Vaccines & Biological Company Ltd) is a Tanzanian veterinary pharmaceutical company established in 2015, specializing in the development and manufacture of affordable, high-quality livestock and poultry vaccines. The company is best known for its flagship combined Tatu Moja (Three in one) thermostable poultry vaccine, designed to protect village chickens against major diseases (Newcastle disease, Fowl pox and Infectious coryza) while remaining effective without strict cold-chain requirements. NOVABI focuses on serving smallholder farmers particularly women and youth by improving access to essential animal health products, strengthening rural livelihoods, and supporting food security. Through innovation, local manufacturing, and public–private partnerships, NOVABI contributes to resilient, inclusive, and climate-smart livestock systems in Tanzania and the region.
