Pro-Local Edge is a social agribusiness based in Western Kenya, focused on transforming smallholder farming through regenerative agriculture and inclusive finance. We provide certified inputs on credit repayable in grain alongside hands-on training, soil restoration support, and post-harvest services. Our model directly addresses low productivity, poor soil health, and financial exclusion among unbanked rural farmers. Since 2022, we have supported over 200 farmers, achieving improved yields and higher repayment rates. Our mission is to scale sustainable agriculture while reshaping how smallholder farmers are financed across Kenya and beyond.
