The Smart Agripreneurs Academy is a social impact start-up, registered as a non-profit organization, that aims to promote the development of youth Agripreneurship in schools and rural communities. The Academy endeavors to inform, inspire, and support secondary school students, school-aged children, and community youths in realizing their full potential in the field of agriculture. The Academy strives to provide comprehensive learning experience for young individuals, empowering them with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in the agricultural sector. through its programs, which include advocacy, study tours, project-based learning initiatives, career guidance, mentorship, and post-training support. This approach of the academy seeks to address the high unemployment rate and low participation of young people in the agricultural space (value chain) in the Gambia.
