Wamandi & Co. is a bespoke integrated agribusiness in Botswana dedicated to sustainable farming and agro-education. The farm combines production of high-value vegetable crops, livestock production, apiculture and aquaculture with providing Agro educational training and empowerment programs for youth, women, and emerging farmers. Wamandi has utilizes an outgrower scheme that is a partnership model where smallholder farmers and youth entrepreneurs produce crops and livestock under Wamandi’s guidance and supply chain. Wamandi provides inputs, training, and guaranteed off-take, while outgrowers expand production capacity beyond the core farm.
