Action For Development (AFD) envisions empowered and resilient citizens in Ethiopia, leading dignified lives in a sustainable environment. Our mission is to partner with development actors to support the self-development of pastoral and vulnerable communities through programs focused on resilient livelihoods, WASH, natural resource management, social protection, disaster risk management, and accountable governance. We aim to enhance food security and build resilient livelihoods while amplifying the voices of marginalized communities for responsive governance. We also address issues like gender transformation, climate change adaptation, and youth involvement in all our work.
