Sakhimpilo Home Community Based Care Project
Sakhimpilo Home Community Based Care Project is a nonprofit organization based in Mhlontlo Municipality, Eastern Cape. Established in 2000 in response to the HIV/AIDS and TB epidemic, our mission is to provide compassionate, community-based health care services. We focus on home-based care, HIV counseling and testing, TB screening, treatment support, and stigma reduction through awareness programs. We also support vulnerable children and families by working with the Department of Social Development to distribute food parcels and provide holistic support. Operating in 10 localities across 3 wards, we partner with clinics, government, and fellow NPOs to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.
