Maianke Bee Farm is a dedicated queen bee breeding operation based in Kirinyaga County Kenya. We specialize in producing high-quality, locally adapted queen bees for beekeepers across the country. Addressing Challenges in Community Beekeeping: • By providing beekeepers with strong, disease-resistant queens, we help them maintain healthy and productive bee colonies. This reduces colony losses due to diseases like Varroa mites and African bee viruses, which can significantly impact honey production and livelihoods. • Increasing Honey Production: Strong queens lay more eggs, leading to larger and more productive bee colonies. This translates to increased honey yields for beekeepers, improving their incomes and livelihoods. • We promote sustainable beekeeping practices by providing beekeepers with access to quality genetics and training on proper beekeeping techniques
