Sunify Solardry Technology is an agribusiness startup committed to tackling one of rural Africa’s most pressing challenges — post-harvest losses. In many farming communities, grains are sun-dried on bare ground, leaving them vulnerable to contamination, spoilage, and unpredictable weather. This practice results in up to 30% of harvests being lost annually, directly reducing farmers’ incomes and threatening food security. We design and manufacture affordable, portable mechanical grain dryers that use solar energy to dry grains faster, safer, and more efficiently. Our dryers extend storage life, preserve quality, and protect produce from pests, mold, and rain. By shortening drying time from days to hours, we enable small and medium-scale farmers to reduce losses, access better markets, and increase their earnings. Our mission is to empower farmers with sustainable post-harvest solutions.
