About Company

UFA is a farmers’ organization, duly registered under the Business Laws of the Republic of Liberia on the 11th of March 2014. The membership of the organization is well over 25,000 rural farmers across Liberia. Its mission is to enhance food security and promote sustainable livelihoods by transitioning rural farmers from subsistence to sustainable, mechanized, and commercial farming. Through the development of cooperative and corporate farming concepts, we aim to foster self-reliance, resilience, and wealth creation among farmers while protecting natural resources and biodiversity. UFA has a five-member Board of Directors that supervises the affairs of the agency and mobilizes resources for its operations. UFA has worked in partnership with several local and international NGOs, including UNDP-LIBERIA, GEF/SGP, the Welthungerhilfe-Liberia/BMZ, and Medicor Foundation
