Emesa Smart Agro Initiative Limited-esail
EMESA Smart Agro Initiative Limited (ESAIL) is a precision agriculture company founded in 2021. We run a satellite and artificial intelligence-based advisory platform that gives farmers field-level information on soil health, weather forecasts, crop health, pests, and diseases. This helps them decide when to plant, how to use inputs and when to harvest. We work with cooperatives, SACCOs and farmer groups across Uganda. We combine satellite data with on-the-ground data collection using smartphones and tablets. We aim to help smallholder farmers raise productivity and farm more sustainably.
