The business addresses critical challenges such as high post-harvest milk losses, limited access to cold chain infrastructure, poor market linkages, and the exclusion of women from formal agribusiness. By aggregating and processing camel and goat milk, and introducing solar-powered chilling and traceability systems, DGEL helps smallholder farmers—especially women—reduce spoilage, meet quality standards, and access high-value urban markets.
