The study assessed the sources and risks of raising poultry in Lagos State, Nigeria. After data cleaning, 127 of the 130 poultry farmers who were randomly selected using a semi-structured questionnaire were found to be suitable for analysis. The socioeconomic profile of the poultry farmers was established using descriptive statistics, which comprise frequencies and percentages.
