This Decree, consisting of 21 articles and 1 Annex, approves the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development (MAPDR). It establishes composition, duties, and responsibilities of the above mentioned Ministry, entitled to implement Government policies related to food security, cooperatives, conception, implementation, coordination and assessment of the policy approved by the Council of Ministers in the domain such as agriculture, livestock, forestry, fisheries, and rural development. The Ministry aims at promoting and guaranteeing agrarian research, technical assistance to farmers and animal breeders, to fisherperson and to organizations of the rural cadaster.
