Maize (Zea mays L.) is the staple food crop grown by most smallholder farmers in Nigeria and its productivity and production are affected by the decline in soil fertility. Research was conducted to evaluate maize growth in a Tectona grandis-based agroforestry system with four treatments growth media: 800kg/ha NPK 20: 10: 10, 10tonnes/ha poultry manure, 5tonnes poultry manure+400kg NPK20:10:10/ha and control (no fertilizer) administered in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three replications of 2m x5m experimental plot size.
