Human Capital, Technology Adoption, and Institutional Quality as Determinants of Agricultural Output: Role of University Education in Enhancing Agricultural Productivity in Nigeria

This study investigates the impact of university education on agricultural productivity in Nigeria, with a focus on the mediating role of technology adoption and the moderating effect of institutional and infrastructural quality. Using data from 820 smallholder households across multiple agro-ecological zones and employing an augmented Cobb-Douglas production function, the study estimates both direct and indirect pathways through which human capital affects output.
