Nourishing Africa is excited to announce a new partnership with Digivate 360, one of Facebook's training partners in Nigeria, to provide free digital training to its members in the West African country. 

The partnership will see over 300 SMEs associated with Nourishing Africa benefit from a five-day intensive training programme, "Boost with Facebook” between October 11, 2021 and October 15, 2021. 

Nourishing Africa members will undergo six virtual sessions aimed at helping them boost their digital presence focusing on the Facebook Family of Apps, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp for Business and Ads Manager. Participants will also be able to develop effective advertising strategies for their businesses and translate them into actionable plans. 

Commenting on the exciting opportunity, Rahmat Eyinfunjowo, Nourishing Africa Co-CEO, said the sessions will aid SMEs in Nigeria develop digitally-driven models that will help them market their products in the COVID-19 era. 

According to a research report published by Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), about 98% of SMEs in Nigeria and other developing countries reported being impacted by the pandemic. Enterprises that survived from the onset leveraged digital platforms to service their customer base and drive sales. 

The Boost with Facebook programme is our latest effort to build the capacity of our agri-food entrepreneur members and will soon be expanded to other African countries.
